#Main #Responsibilities:
? Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including but not limited to financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
? Ensure that all financial reporting deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner
? Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
? Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the organization
? Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial data
? Coordinate audits by external auditors and provide necessary information and support
? Serve as a business partner to other departments within the organization, providing financial analysis and decision-support as needed
? Reviewing financial records, contracts, and other documentation to determine accuracy and completeness of data
? Conducting research to identify new accounting methods or procedures which could improve efficiency or effectiveness of operations
#Requirements:
? BSc. in Accounting, or in any relevant field
? Fluent English and Turkish – must
? 10 years of experience in in an accounting role
? Knowledge of Turkish Accounting rules
? Experience in supporting a trader / logistics company / production
? Proficiency in communicating with the management and staff of the company
? Self-motivated individual with effective organizational skills
? Computer knowledge – SAP/1C, Excel, Word
Office in Istanbul
Start date: ASAP
Assignment duration: Permanent labor contract
Rate: negotiable
